The ColourPop x Ipsy Collab Is Certainly Unique

ColourPop is scorching right now. Seriously. The beloved L.A. indie brand, known for its trendy offerings, quality formulas, and attractive prices, will unveil its biggest launch ever on Friday, Jan. 13. The ColourPop pressed powder single serve shadows and fixed palettes drop today and the shades are vegan, by the way. But the brand has another unique collab in the works. Who is ColourPop collaborating with next? Is it a vlogger, along the lines of its current Amanda Steele Weekend Warrior collection? Is it Jaclyn Hill, who teased an eyeshadow palette coming in the next seven weeks? Nope, it's none of the above in this particular case.

ColourPop is actually collaborating with ipsy, the makeup sample subscription service for its #GenBeauty event in L.A. later this month, according to an Instagram post.

On the base level with ipsy, you can subscribe and receive five sample products for $10 per month. Ipsy teased the partnership on its official Instagram, showing off the insanely rad, hot pink, and triangular packaging.

Fans have already started speculating about what's inside.

Could it be an empty palette to hold all those new single serve CP shadows? Or are there exclusive shades just for #GenBeauty attendees?

We don't know. Bustle reached out to ColourPop to clarify what to expect from the ipsy collab.

Observe the collab below.

That hot pink color, though! It slays.

This is the caption attached to ipsy's post. Fans can enter to win free entry to #GenBeauty, along with some other swag. The winner is announced tomorrow. So if this appeals to you, read the instructions and start posting.

Ipsy subcribers certainly hope this collab, or something related to it, ends up in their monthly bags at some point. This could be a #GenBeauty-only promo collab or it could be a harbinger of something more that will be widely and commercially available.

Whatever the case, it's a cool brand x brand partnership and it generated a lot of excitement among fans of both companies.
