What Your Fave 'RHONY' Character Says About You

Patrick Ecclesine/Bravo

The Real Housewives of New York Season 9 premiere is finally upon us, and I don't know about you, but my excitement of what's to come is at an all-time high. So in celebration of the April 5 Real Housewives of New York premiere, I've decided to take a closer look to examine what your favorite RHONY castmate says about you. From their lavish dinner parties and verbal catfights to their luxurious getaways, there's no doubt that all of the ladies of the Big Apple franchise certainly know how to keep viewers intrigued with their fancy digs and high-profile lifestyles.

Over the years, I'd have to say that my favorite RH cast member has probably changed more than a dozen times, but nonetheless, I've managed to grow accustomed to all of their quirks and outlandish behavior while watching them interact with one another on the small screen. I mean, things in the concrete jungle just wouldn't be the same without Bethenny Frankel's boss-status behavior or Luann D'Agostino's love of high-class living.

While I find all of the Housewives franchises to be entertaining, I'd have to say that there's no group quite like the ladies of Real Housewives of New York. And since you're reading this, I have to imagine that you, too, are a fan. So together, let's take a moment to examine what your favorite cast member means for you.

Ramona Singer

If Ramona is your favorite housewife, you are most likely very passionate and opinionated when it comes to your beliefs. You love life, no matter what comes your way, and enjoy having a good time with friends. Oh yeah, and you probably love wine — but then again, what real housewife doesn't love wine?

Luann D'Agostino

Are you a fan of the former Countess? If you are, you love living the luxe life and enjoy being the center of attention — even if that means you have to indulge in a bit of drama from time-to-time. But that's totally OK, because at the core, all you really want is for things not to be all... like, uncool.

Bethenny Frankel

You're probably a real boss babe, if Bethenny is your fave NYC housewife. But, you're also most likely a bit outspoken and possibly a little too open when it comes to telling it like it is. People are sometimes intimidated upon meeting you, and those that already know you should be leery of getting on your bad side.

Sonja Morgan

If you're anything like Sonja, you love to have fun — when, how, and with whom you want. You are probably looked at as the life of the party among your inner circle of friends, and people most likely either love or hate you for it. But, who the hell cares? Because your IDGAF attitude is what makes you... you.

Carole Radziwill

Chances are that you probably have an amazingly intuitive thought process, if you favor Carole. You most likely also have stellar instincts when it comes to dealing with adverse situations, and even though you know how to hold your own, you'd prefer to observe and think things over before speaking.

Dorinda Medley

If Dorinda's your favorite, you are probably a survivor of sorts and know how to put people in their place when necessary. However, despite sometimes having bit of a tough exterior, there's also a very soft and personable side that makes people gravitate toward you.

Tinsley Mortimer

Tinsley, although the newcomer on the block, has had her fair share of documented ups-and-downs in life. Judging by the previews and news surrounding her appearance on the show, the New York socialite seems to be on a mission to reinvent herself with this group of ladies, which certainly means that she knows how to hold her own.

So, if you're anything like Tinsley, you probably love taking on new challenges and perhaps live by the mantra: "Throw me to the wolves and I'll return leading the leading the pack."

I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to catch up with all of my favorite ladies from the big city. It'll certainly be interesting to see just how Tinsley plans to wedge her way into this tight-knit circle of "friends." And as you watch, you can see how your favorite star's personality compares to your own.
