Another month means another change in your Netflix queue, but October is not your ordinary month. This means that what's leaving Netflix in October 2017 isn't your ordinary list of projects to say goodbye to. It's hard to concentrate on anything but what costume you're going to wear when October, better known as Halloween Month, hits, but these last calls shows and movies are basically your last chance to distract yourself from pumpkins, bats, and cutting eyeholes in your sheets until November. As such, any marathon you hold to catch these before they leave should include a preparatory bowl of candy corn — because, let's be real, you don't want to think about anything but Halloween.
Lucky for you, some of the classics leaving the streaming network during Halloween Month are pretty darn scary. In any other month, that might be a negative thing. But imagining living life without these fan favorites is full-on terrifying, so they fit in perfectly with this month's spooky theme. How are you supposed to get by without Liz Lemon's quirky life lessons after 30 Rock is taken down on Oct. 1? Or without the electric chemistry between Coach and Tami Taylor on Friday Night Lights after it makes its exit? These are the kind of hair-raising questions you'll have to answer in October, so fill that candy bowl up to the brim and get to watching.
1. 'Family Guy' (Season 9-14)
If you're currently in the middle of a Family Guy marathon on Netflix, then you might need to hasten your viewing schedule. Get up to date on the series before Seasons 9 through 14 leave on Oct. 29.
2. 'Hotel Transylvania 2'
You'll definitely want to enjoy this family friendly spook-fest in the lead up to Halloween. Especially because it's leaving Netflix on Oct. 27, just a few days prior to the holiday.
3. 'Louie' (Seasons 1-5)
Get your deadpan chuckles while you can, because the first five seasons of Louie will be disappearing from Netflix on Oct. 27.
4. 'Lie To Me' (Seasons 2 & 3)
Featuring the phenomenal talents of Tim Roth, the short-lived crime drama is leaving the streaming service on Oct. 27, and is well worth catching up on before then.
5. 'Bones' (Seasons 5-11)
If the light-hearted joys of Bones is your go-to comfort viewing on Netflix, then you'll be wanting to say some heartfelt goodbyes to the show before it turns to dust on Oct. 21.
6. 'The Cleveland Show' (Seasons 1-4)
Show some love for this vastly underrated Family Guy spinoff before you can no longer stream it on Netflix. The irreverent animated comedy leaves on Oct. 19.

The Wonder Years was a funny, heartbreaking, and painfully relatable glimpse at the struggles of growing up. And it's sadly your last chance to enjoy the show before it leaves Netflix on Oct. 1.

If craft beer is your jam, then you definitely don't want to miss out on this insightful yet entertaining documentary about how this recent alcohol trend has positively impacted our economy before it leaves on Oct. 1.

Basically, there's a lot of great stuff leaving Netflix in October. But on the plus side, that also gives you the perfect excuse to snuggle down with your favorite blanket and snack of choice and watch as many of these titles as possible before they disappear.
