Tinder launched Tinder Gold worldwide this week, and you may be wondering how Tinder Gold is different than Tinder Plus. Both members-only services require users to pay in order to use them, and the features have other things in common, too, including the following. Passport allows you to start swiping in another city or country before you arrive — talk about efficiency in having dates set up for when you get there! With Rewind, you can take back a false swipe, so if you accidentally swiped left, you can undo it! You also get Unlimited Likes — instead of being cut off when you swipe right on 100 people in every 12-hour period, you can keep going and going and goingWith Tinder Gold and Tinder Plus, you also get more Super Likes. If you don't have either feature, you get one Super Like a day — yep, when you can ~super~ like someone by swiping UP instead of left or right. But with these premium packages, you get ~five~ Super Likes, which means four additional daily Super Likes to get four additional potential matches' attention. Finally, you also get the Boost feature. When you use it, for a limited amount of time, you'll appear as a "top profile" in your area, so your profile will come up before someone who doesn't use Boost.

How Are Tinder Gold And Tinder Plus Different?

There are a few small differences, yet one key element that sets them apart — the Likes You feature, and a Tinder spokesperson confirmed the theory. Just like it sounds, with Tinder Gold, you get the above perks, but also get to see who likes you. Then, with this added boost of confidence, you can swipe right on them — if you so choose — and begin messaging right away without having to wait and see if they like you back! So say goodbye to matching with people, then forgetting to message them. If they've already liked you and you then swipe right on them, you can cut right to the messaging chase faster.

"Tinder Gold gives users the fun of swiping paired with the added bonus of seeing who's swiped right on them first," Brian Norgard, Chief Product Officer at Tinder, tells Bustle. "We love looking for new ways to help Tinder users match more efficiently. In our first month of testing, subscribers received 60 percent more matches with Tinder Gold — and we're excited to roll it out to users around the world."

How Much Is Tinder Gold Versus Tinder Plus?

"We are testing Tinder Gold pricing," a Tinder spokesperson tells Bustle. "Tinder Plus subscribers can pay a small fee to upgrade to Tinder Gold. Non-subscribers can also upgrade directly to Tinder Gold (which includes all Tinder Plus features). As with Tinder's existing paid features, a longer-term subscription to Tinder Gold will provide a discount compared to purchasing one month."

Some people are speculating on the price of Tinder Gold. Engadget reported that Tinder Gold will be $5 per month, though "this price isn't set in stone." Buzzfeed News, too, said Tinder will charge around $4.99 for most users.

As for Tinder Plus pricing, it is currently $9.99 per month for users under 30 years old, and $19.99 per month for users over 30. A Tinder spokesperson says that $9.99 is the most common Tinder Plus subscription price for users, "but it is not the only one — we are also testing other price points and pricing may vary by market."

Tinder Gold Is Not Available To Everyone Yet

One more difference between Tinder Gold and Tinder Plus is that the former is only available on iOS at the moment. However, Tinder Gold will be on Androids at some point, but it's TBD when, though The Verge believe is may be as soon as next month. Meanwhile, if you're an Android phone person, you can always test it out on a friend's iOS phone and whet your appetite for the Likes You feature, so you'll be all set to use it once it hits Androids.
