When Does Kim Kardashian Want To Have Another Kid?

America's reality television royal family might be expanding further. Even though Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had their second child, Saint West, a little over a year ago, they are thinking of growing their brood once again. In a new promo spot for this season's Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kardashian revealed that she wanted to have another child. Now that there is a possibility that they might be adding another, when will Kardashian have baby number three?

In the promo, Kardashian is shown expressing her desire for more children, but quickly opens up about the challenges that come with that. “I want my kids to have siblings, but the doctors don’t feel like it’s safe for me," she told two of her sisters, Khloé and Kourtney, and her mother, Kris Jenner. Her mother responded, “I don’t want you to do something that would put you in danger.”

This isn't the first time Kardashian has talked about the possibility of having another child, and she was previously shown exploring her options on the show. On a November 2016 episode of KUWTK, Kardashian spoke to her doctors about having another child and the topic of surrogacy came up. A fertility doctor told her, “Using a surrogate is not an unreasonable option... If our goal is to grow your family like you want to, then a surrogate makes sense.” So, if this is a viable option for her, she could very well already be starting the process for Kardashian-West Baby #3.

In wondering when Kardashian could have another baby, it's important to note that this newest episode hasn't yet aired and was filmed a few months ago. It is totally possible that her mindset could have changed in the time since.

The topic of having another child seems to have been on Kardashian and husband Kanye West's minds, even right after she gave birth to Saint.

In April 2016, less than five months after she had her second child, Kardashian said on KUWTK, “Kanye has said it every single day" in response to a question about whether they wanted a third child. "I don’t think I can carry another one.”

Kardashian has also never held back on her dislike for being pregnant because both of her pregnancies have led to serious health problems. She's written about her struggles openly on her website, and in a post titled "High Risk Pregnancy," wrote about the preeclampsia and placenta accreta she had experienced.

But regardless of risks, the idea of three babies has also been on her mind for a while. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest back in 2014, Kardashian said after the birth of North,

“It was a really hard pregnancy. But I love my daughter so much and I know what it was like to grow up with siblings, so I definitely want to have more...I’m definitely not going the route my mom did."

Later on in the interview, Kardashian said she'd have “three [kids] tops."

While we can't be sure exactly when Kardashian will have another baby, if she chooses to, it sounds like she definitely would like to have another child at some point, when the safest and healthiest option is available.
