See The ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Cast Perform Live

by Laura Rosenfeld
VH1

I'm convinced that RuPaul's Drag Race contestants are the hardest working people in show business, aside from RuPaul, of course. Each season of the drag queen competition, the contestants are put to the test to see who has the charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent to be crowned America's Next Drag Superstar. RuPaul and the rest of the judges determine who has the skills to pay the bills by challenging their creativity in putting a look together from scratch, their stand-up comedy in front of an entire audience, how they command the room on a runway, and, of course, their lip sync skills, among many other things. But the queens have cultivated these talents through years of performing live. So if you want to see them do their thing IRL, you need to know where to see the RuPaul's Drag Race Season 9 cast perform live.

This season's RuPaul's Drag Race contestants are a talented bunch, so they can all be found performing at clubs, cabarets, and special events all around the country, and in some cases, the world. And once this season of RuPaul's Drag Race kicks off on Friday, March 24 at 8 p.m. ET on VH1, you can expect the queens' popularity to go through the roof and for their acts to be even more highly sought after. Hopefully, that translates into even more live appearances for us to enjoy.

If you've got a ticket to this year's RuPaul's Drag Con, which takes place on April 29 and 30 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, you'll be able to see all 13 of this season's queens in person since they will all be making appearances. Past contestants have also been known to travel across the country with the RuPaul's Drag Race Battle of the Seasons tour, so hopefully that hits the road again with queens from this season.

But if you want to see your fave contestant in action in the near future, find out where she'll be delivering a fabulous lip sync near you below.

Aja

VH1

Aja may hail from Brooklyn, according to her official show bio, but you can see her perform live all over the world in the coming months. Her website lists dates across the country, from Houston to Los Angeles to Minneapolis, as well as performances in London, Dublin, and Australia at the start of the summer. And if you do see Aja live, prepare for some high energy. Her live performances are just as vibrant as her looks.

Alexis Michelle

VH1

Alexis Michelle was born and raised in New York, and she has claimed the title of "New York City's premiere Broadway queen," according to her official show bio. Naturally, that means you can see Alexis' theatricality all over the Big Apple. She regularly performs at Barracuda, The West End, and The Green Room at New World Stages, her website says. Alexis also co-hosts a new party with fellow drag queen Pattaya Hart at the Ritz Bar and Lounge in New York on Sundays. She's also performing at Rich's in Houston on March 24, so perhaps she'll be in your neck of the woods soon, too.

Charlie Hides

VH1

Charlie Hides is a legendary drag queen who splits her time between the U.S. and the U.K., her official show bio says. Specifically, Charlie is based in Boston and London, according to her Twitter profile. Charlie regularly performs on Atlantic cruises, theaters and cabarets in Europe and Australia, and at the Triad Theater in New York, her website says. She also has a residency at London's Royal Vauxhall Tavern where she'll be performing on April 7. Charlie will next be seen at Oilcan Harrys in Austin on March 26, according to her Instagram. Charlie's act is a mix of comedy and cabaret, and she's also been known to impersonate Cher, Lady Gaga, and Madonna, and she really gives me some Material Girl vibes.

Eureka

VH1

Eureka has made a name for herself in the pageant circuit, having competed in more than 100 pageants, according to her bio on VH1's website. But she doesn't want to be known as just a "pageant girl," and she's got the performances all over the country to prove it. Eureka is fresh off of a Southern California tour this month, and she'll be closing out March in her hometown of Johnson City, Tennessee, Asheville, North Carolina, and Chicago, her website lists. She will also be appearing at the Blue Ridge Pride Festival in Asheville in October. And if she does well on RuPaul's Drag Race, who knows where you'll find Eureka next?

Farrah Moan

VH1

Farrah Moan's drag is inspired by old-school Las Vegas showgirls, according to her official show bio, which shouldn't come as much of a surprise since she calls Sin City home. She has gained quite the social media following, thanks to her glitzy looks, but you can see Farrah live and in person all around the country. Farrah publicizes a lot of her performances on her Instagram profile, and she recently posted about gigs at Harvard & Stone in Los Angeles, ICandy in Philadelphia, and Rich's in San Diego. Up next, Farrah will be back in Las Vegas at a viewing party for the RuPaul's Drag Race Season 9 premiere on March 24.

Jaymes Mansfield

VH1

There's nothing that Jaymes Mansfield can't do. Actually, perhaps I should reserve my judgment for until after I see her in action on this season of RuPaul's Drag Race. But no one can deny that her resume is impressive. Jaymes is the self-proclaimed "Swiss Army Knife" of drag, according to her bio on VH1's website, meaning that she can sing, sew, act, dance, and perform with puppets.

So where can you see Jaymes' many talents for yourself? Jaymes posts about many of her upcoming performances on her Instagram profile. She'll be hosting a RuPaul's Drag Race viewing party at D.I.X. in her hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 24. After that, you can catch Jaymes at The Cafe in San Francisco on April 7. Earlier this month, Jaymes appeared at clubs in Seattle, Austin, and Houston. But with all of those aforementioned skills, Jaymes certainly has a lot of outlets to share her talents with the world.

Kimora Blac

VH1

Kimora Blac likes to serve body-ody-ody, according to her official show bio, and that's exactly what you'll get if you check her out live. She publicizes her live shows on her Instagram profile and has performed in Austin, Houston, Fort Lauderdale, San Jose, and Sacramento just this month. Werk, Kimora!

Nina Bo'Nina Brown

VH1

As you can see, Nina Bo'Nina Brown has a bit of an avant garde look, and if you see her perform live, I bet you'll never forget it. Nina regularly performs at Boscoe's in Columbus, Ohio. She also appeared at Akashia's Birthday Bash in February at Bounce in Cleveland, Ohio. But you don't even need to leave the house to catch Nina's fierceness. Just take a gander at her stunning and inventive makeup looks, as well as her sickening lip sync skills on Twitter, and I promise you'll be gagging.

Peppermint

VH1

Peppermint can usually be found hosting and performing in New York, according to her bio on VH1's website. She'll be at The Monster in the Big Apple, where she seems to appear every so often, on March 24 for a RuPaul's Drag Race viewing party, she posted on Instagram. Peppermint also performs at New York's Rise Bar every Monday, and she has had some recent shows at The Ritz. But Peppermint has also been known to have gigs outside of New York, too. So far this year, she has performed in Chicago, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and New Haven, Connecticut. Where will Peppermint bring her freshness next?

Sasha Velour

VH1

If you're as obsessed with Sasha Velour's unique look as I am, you might want to see it for yourself in person. Sasha will next be appearing in March Dragness at R Place in Seattle on March 25 and Drag Nation: The Great 8 at Tracks in Denver on March 31, according to her website. She also has her own show called Nightgowns every second Thursday of the month at Bizarre Bushwick in New York. If Sasha can make it in New York, well, you know the rest.

Shea Couleé

VH1

Shea Couleé is kicking off this season of RuPaul's Drag Race by hosting a viewing party in her hometown of Chicago at Roscoe's on March 24, along with former contestants Shangela and Naomi Smalls. She's also been spotted on stages elsewhere in Chicago, like at Neverland and Jeezy's Juke Joint. But with Shea's high-fashion look, I think she could dominate runways all over the world, don't you?

Trinity Taylor

VH1

Trinity Taylor has had a successful run in the pageant circuit, taking home "countless crowns," according to her official show bio. She even beat RuPaul's Drag Race alum Alyssa Edwards in one. Trinity is also a former Miss Pulse and performed at the Orlando nightclub where the deadly mass shooting occurred last June one week before the attack, her bio says.

Trinity still performs in Orlando. She appears at the Drag Brunch at Senor Frogs in the city every Sunday, according to her website. Trinity will also continue to hit the road this month and throughout the summer, making stops all over the U.S. in places like Alabama, Texas, and California, as well as the U.K., Scandinavia, and Germany. Catch Trinity while you can!

Valentina

VH1

Valentina is relatively new to the drag world, having only been practicing it for 10 months prior to RuPaul's Drag Race, according to her bio on VH1's website. However, Valentina already has some live performances under her belt, and there are sure to be plenty more on the way in the future. She recently performed in Showgirls in West Hollywood, as well as Faultline in Los Angeles, Rich's in San Diego, and Oilcan Harrys in Austin. Valentina a rookie, really?

The best and most convenient place to see the entire cast do their thing is on RuPaul's Drag Race every Friday. But you already knew that.
