Survivors of the Parkland school shooting will lead hundreds of thousands of people in calling for an end to gun violence via student-led March For Our Lives rallies held across the country Saturday. Organized in part by students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, the march is expected to bring nearly half a million people to Washington, D.C. to demand lawmakers pass comprehensive gun control legislation. So, who will be performing at March For Our Lives? The rally boasts some big name performers.

A number of Parkland student survivors behind the advocacy group #NeverAgain will join other gun control advocates in a march on Washington this Saturday while hundreds of so-called "sibling marches" take place around the country and across the globe. In Washington, however, the March For Our Lives event will also include performances by Common, Miley Cyrus, Andra Day, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Demi Lovato, Vic Mensa, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Ben Platt.

According to a schedule shared by March For Our Lives' organizers, Day will kick off the rally at noon at the intersection of 3rd and Constitution Streets with a performance with the Cardinal Shehan School Choir. Common will then join Day for a performance. The two have previously performed powerful versions of "Stand Up For Something," a song that has come to be a rallying cry of sorts for the student-led gun control movement in the wake of the Feb. 14 Parkland school shooting.

Lovato is expected to perform at around 12:25 p.m. following speeches from Parkland students Cameron Kasky and Delany Tarr and a speech from Trevon Bosley, a Chicago teen who lost a family member to gun violence. Lovato's performance will be followed by speeches from additional survivors of gun violence and school shootings before Miranda and Platt, both Broadway stars, take the stage.

The two are expected to perform "Found/Tonight," a mash-up the duo created by joining parts of "The Story of Tonight" from the musical Hamilton and "You Will Be Found" from the musical Dear Evan Hansen. According to Forbes, a portion of the proceeds from the sales of "Found/Tonight" are being donated to March For Our Lives.

As the march and rally continue rapper Vic Mensa will perform followed later by Cyrus and then Grande. The Stoneman Douglas drama club is also expected to perform with a student choir. To wrap up the rally, Hudson will perform with the D.C. Choir. Those unable to make it to Washington for the March For Our Lives event can reportedly stream the entire rally live on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, according to NBC News.

But the main rally in Washington isn't the only March For Our Lives event set to include celebrities and musical guests. A number of high-profile Hollywood stars also are set to join the students at the March For Our Lives Los Angeles rally, including comedian Amy Schumer and actresses Connie Britton, Skai Jackson, Ta'Rhonda Jones, Yara Shahidi, and Olivia Wilde. The Los Angeles event is also expected to feature a few big-name musical guests, too. Leona Lewis, Rita Ora, and Charlie Puth have all reportedly signed on to perform.

March For Our Lives organizers are demanding lawmakers ban the sale of assault weapons, nothing that "of the 10 deadliest shootings over the last decade, seven involved the use of assault weapons." Organizers' list of demands also includes restricting the sale of high-capacity magazines and closing loopholes in current background check laws. "The children of this country can no longer go to school in fear that each day could be their last," March For Our Lives organizers said in a statement on their event's official website.

Seventeen people were killed Feb. 14 when a former student opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. According to the gun-control advocacy group Everytown for Gun Safety, which is helping Parkland students coordinate the March For Our Lives event, the country has seen nearly 300 school shootings since 2013, which averages out to roughly one shooting per week.
