You May Recognize The Dancers In The 'Master Of None' Trailer

by Lakecia Hammond

As Season 2 approaches, Master of None dropped a new trailer on Wednesday, and I can't tell you how excited I am. Season 1 aired back in 2015, so Season 2 has been a long time coming. The show follows Dev (played by Aziz Ansari), an Indian-American living in New York City, along with his diverse set of friends and endearing relationship with his parents. The show isn't afraid to tackle topics like cultural barriers and gender issues. You may be wondering though, who are the masked men in the Master of None trailer?

The trailer shows a set of familiar faces, including John Legend and the aforementioned masked men who look a lot like the breakdancers fans may know and love as the Jabbawockeez. Not only did the masks give it away, but the leather coats registered as well. The coats resemble — if not are identical to — the ones they wore at the American Music Awards in 2013.

The Jabbawockeez are based out of Southern California and first debuted on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew around nine years ago, where they reigned champions. Their break dance performances have included music from artists like Michael Jackson and Europe.

In the Master of None trailer, you can see that there is a performance of some kind, but what's more riddling is Ansari and co-star masking up for a dance performance of their own. We'll just have to wait and see what's in store, but you know that Ansari never disappoints. For an idea of what to expect, check out some of Jabbawockeez' footwork below:

I can't wait to see the dance group come together for another reunion and showcase their dancing skills, alongside Ansari and the gang. Is it May 12 yet?
