There may have been a love connection on Monday night's round of blind auditions on The Voice, but don't worry, I'm pretty sure it's platonic. RJ Collins' blind audition on The Voice was absolutely smooth and soulful and all the good things that give you goosebumps on Monday night. He basically left the judges gobsmacked with his talent, but that's no surprise, right? Aside from his singing chops, there seemed to be a next-level connection forged between Collins and Voice judge Alicia Keys.

Collins, an 18-year-old who hails from Chicago, decided to sing Justin Bieber's "Purpose" for his audition on The Voice. The young singer absolutely nailed it. This wasn't some nasally, awkward version of a pop hit. Collins poured out his heart right on the stage during his audition. His voice soared to the rafters as he sang "Purpose," giving Bieber a run for every last red cent.

The judges were quick to turn around once they heard Collins sing. "That's the winning voice," Adam Levine remarked. Keys appeared to agree with Levine's statement, simply staring at Collins in wonder and joy. It only got better for everyone involved because Collins managed to charm the pants off each of the judges once it came time for them to plead their case as to why he should be on their team. Collins had the pick of the litter on Monday night but somehow, he only had (platonic) eyes for Keys.

Shelton tried to put things in perspective for Collins but comparing Levine to Keys. Levine knew that Collins was clearly going to choose Keys because of his enthusiastic reaction to her attention but it was cute that Levine tried to persuade Collins otherwise. Collins was a goner, though, when Keys stated that The Voice needed more voices like his on the show and the he truly was a one-of-a-kind addition to Season 12. "I'm ready for magic," Keys stated. "Your soul comes through this music in a way that's really, really evident." The love was so real in that room tonight.

Collins did indeed choose Keys when the time came and it seems to be a match made in heaven. After blowing them away during the blind auditions, could Collins be the one who secure a win for Team Keys this season?
