'PLL' Needs Someone's Digits

Eric McCandless/Freeform

Getting something weird in the mail is a daily occurrence in Rosewood, Pennsylvania, but it’s usually that the liars of Pretty Little Liars are the ones who are hoping to forward their mail somewhere else. Instead, on the May 2 episode of Pretty Little Liars, it was the Rosewood Police Department that got a little bit more than they bargained for. Whose finger did A.D. send on Pretty Little Liars?

The scene looked like one of those final A.D. scenes with the black gloves and the hoodies, but it was a fake-out. Really, it was Detective Marco Furey opening an envelope labeled “Rosewood P.D.” and containing… a human finger! A partially decayed human finger, I may add! Suffice it to say that everyone in the room was pretty grossed out, and Detective Furey called for a forensics investigation to figure out which of Rosewood’s dead bodies is missing a digit. One would think it would be easy to figure out who has a finger off, but how many people have died in Rosewood over the past seven seasons? I rest my case. Obviously, the finger has to be from someone who died recently since it was mostly intact, so no Mrs. DiLaurentis or Detective Holden here, unless A.D. cut off one of their fingers and kept it partially preserved all of this time. I’m not counting anything out when it comes to A.D.

The easy guess is that the finger is from Rollins, but what about from Noel Kahn? He got decapitated, and then what happened to the rest of this body? This finger could be a red herring, a ploy to get the police to focus on something else while A.D. takes care of the liars once and for all. If I were in Rosewood, I would mark everything as “return to sender.”
