Every movie lover's favorite time of year is nigh! The 2017 Golden Globe Awards are set to go down on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, and this year will certainly be very exciting considering the incredible list of nominees. Recently, John Legend was named as a 2017 Golden Globes presenter, so now that he will definitely be present at the show, will Chrissy Teigen be at the Golden Globe Awards?

If you're wondering why Legend is a presenter, well, he's got a very good history with the Globes. In 2015, Legend won a Golden Globe for "Glory," his original song from the film Selma. Legend also has a part as a bandleader in the throwback musical La La Land, which stands out as one of the most-nominated and praised films of the year, snagging seven noms for Best Picture — Musical or Comedy, Best Original Score, Best Original Song, Best Actress — Musical or Comedy for Emma Stone , Best Actor — Musical or Comedy for Ryan Gosling, and Best Screenplay and Best Director for Damien Chazelle. It is only logical that the multi-talented Legend would be invited in some realm, whether or not he was nominated personally.

So, will Teigen be at the Golden Globes, too? If her supportive history holds up, I definitely think she will be there to be by her husband's side as he celebrates the nominations of a film in which he had his most well-known acting role to date.

Teigen and Legend are red carpet staples together, so I see this as just another amazing event that they can share together. And they always seem to have the best time at big events. Beside the fact that she'd be supporting her man on a big night, Teigen and Legend in the past have made it seem that the drinks at the Golden Globes alone might be worth it. As he told E! News in 2015 of drinks they had backstage, "We had real drinks... It was delicious, it was spectacular." Is there a better way to celebrate a special night like this than with your best friend?

Also, lest we forget, Teigen and the Golden Globes also have a very rich and hilarious history together. In 2015, Legend won the Globe for Best Original Song for "Glory," and naturally, his wife was there by his side. But, Teigen made headlines of her own when she spawned a viral meme for her awkward "crying" reaction when he won his award, one that sent social media in a frenzy:

In the end, Teigen had fun with the reaction to her meme and posted her own reaction with Legend on her Instagram, poking a little fun of herself. Most of all, she was extremely proud of her husband, and I have no doubt she would want to be there this year to celebrate his presenting and his role in La La Land... and have some delicious drinks.
