So many different things happened during the July 31 episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, but it's hard not to focus on the update Tamra Judge gives about her relationship with her daughter Sidney. Over the years the OC Housewife has become more open about their estrangement, and it's very clear that the heartbreak is eating away at her. Will RHOC star Tamra and her daughter reconcile? The situation is looking more hopeful than it has in the past.

Tamra shared with the cameras that she saw her oldest daughter outside of court for the first time in a long time when she happened to be at her son Ryan's house. She seemed very hopeful about the future since they were able to be in the same room together, getting along. Ryan even said that he encouraged Sidney to come around more, because Tamra was missing her so much.

Tamra also dropped the news that her relationship with her ex, Simon Barney, has come a long way. Since Sidney and Simon are close — their daughter lives with him full-time — it'll help her progress with Sidney for Tamra to be on good terms with him.

Aside from her son Ryan, Tamra has found support with other "erased parents." She spoke at an event about her estrangement from Sidney in a room full of other parents going through a similar strain. Hopefully Sidney is alright with Tamra being so vocal about their issues. There can be a fine line between "being open" about your life on reality TV and oversharing parts of your life that have to do with another person, let alone your child, who did not sign up to be a cast member.

It's also important to keep in mind that the season was filmed months ago and that what we're seeing on screen isn't the latest on any of these families. Instagram shows that Tamra was actually present at Sidney's high school graduation with Simon, Ryan, and her two other children.

All in all, it really does seem like Tamra has a legitimate shot at reuniting with Sidney. Ryan is supporting her. Other "erased parents" are there to relay their experiences. And even Simon seems to be in favor of getting this family back on good terms.
