The second season of Master of None is about to premiere May 12 and everyone already wants to know if there will be a Master of None Season 3. A third season of the show hasn't been confirmed as of yet, but in a recent interview with New York magazine, Ansari hinted that there could be a Season 3 — but he would want to take the show in a different direction, if Master of Nonei continues. “I’ve got to become a different guy before I write a third season, is my personal thought," Ansari said in the interview. "I’ve got to get married or have a kid or something I don’t have anything else to say about being a young guy being single in New York eating food around town all the time.”

Master of None gave us the diverse goodness we long needed in television. The show touched on issues like racism, the rigidness of gender roles, and falling in and out of love as a millennial. For me, this show set the tone for how we should be utilizing media as a means to showcase and embrace our cultural differences. There's no question, it's what TV needed, but even then, Ansari says he may need a "looonng break" before getting back to it but only because he's really been giving us his all.

In the meantime, Ansari told Vulture more about Season 2 saying it takes place in Italy where Dev is having to rehabiliatate after a break up by way of learning to make pasta and basically start fresh. Ansari tells Vulture we should expect the first episode to be in black and white and 70 percent in Italian, but along with that, the episodes to follow will show how Dev moves on. Ansari does say Dev may need an honest break because after all, Ansari is telling the story of his own life, and rightfully so.

We can look forward to the May 12 Season 2 debut with celebs like John Legend and Jabbawockeez making a sure appearance. While I'd love to see Ansari's character develop after two seasons, it's great to hear the multi-hyphenate star can take an honest break and still set a bar for the quality of media.

Editor's Note: On Jan. 13, Ansari was accused of sexual misconduct by a woman who went on a date with him. Ansari has since responded to the claims, saying:

"In September of last year, I met a woman at a party. We exchanged numbers. We texted back and forth and eventually went on a date. We went out to dinner, and afterwards we ended up engaging in sexual activity, which by all indications was completely consensual.

The next day, I got a text from her saying that although 'it may have seemed okay,' upon further reflection, she felt uncomfortable. It was true that everything did seem okay to me, so when I heard that it was not the case for her, I was surprised and concerned. I took her words to heart and responded privately after taking the time to process what she had said.

I continue to support the movement that is happening in our culture. It is necessary and long overdue."
