Trump's Reaction To Obama Is So Ridiculous

Another day, another fit of pique from Donald Trump on Twitter. It seems that anything and anyone sets the The Donald off these days, but this time, it was President Obama himself. The source of Trump's ire was an interview President Obama conducted with his former senior advisor, David Axelrod, on his podcast, The Axe Files. Obama said that he believed he could have "mobilized a majority" against Trump and won the presidency, had he been allowed to run for a third term. Of course, Trump thinks there's "no way" Obama would have beaten him, because even hypothetical situations hurt his ego.

President Obama, of course, makes a good point. He tells Axelrod that a majority of Americans support a country that is "tolerant and diverse and open," and he is "confident in this vision because I’m confident that if I ― if I had run again and articulated it, I think I could’ve mobilized a majority of the American people to rally behind it."

Trump responded as Trump does, saying: "President Obama said that he thinks he would have won against me. He should say that but I say NO WAY! ― jobs leaving, ISIS, OCare, etc." He followed it up with a second tweet: "The world was gloomy before I won ― there was no hope. Now the market is up nearly 10% and Christmas spending is over a trillion dollars!"

He later tweeted once again: "President Obama campaigned hard (and personally) in the very important swing states, and lost. The voters wanted to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

... Sure. For what it was worth, the good people of Twitter weren't buying it.
