Members of the LGBTQ+ community around the world, plus their allies, will be marking Pride month this June with a series of events. Now that in-person events are taking place, millions will be taking to the streets to celebrate Pride dressed in their best outfits and most of all, their best makeup looks.

A growing number of brands each year step up to the plate to show their support, and this year is no different. Beyond releasing Pride themed products adorned with rainbows, brands are putting their money where their mouths are by launching campaigns and donating money to important LGBTQ+ causes.

This includes Lottie London, which has announced the launch of its Proud To Be Collection. Inspired by the creativity and diversity that encompasses Pride, the collection includes a highly pigmented eyeshadow palette, two cult favourite stamp liners in new Pride-inspired designs, as well as face gems. For each product sold within the collection, 10% of sales will go towards the Kaleidoscope Trust, a UK-based charity working hard to uphold the human rights of LGBTQ+ people across the Commonwealth.

Elsewhere, queer-founded company Boujee Bougies has launched a lineup of playful candles. The collection includes five different scented candles with fragrances ranging from warm and woody to floral, juicy, and sweet. Each candle costs £35 and the brand will donate £5 from each product sold to Micro Rainbow, a UK charity that provides safe housing to LGBTQI asylum seekers and refugees, as well as Gendered Intelligence, an organisation that exists to increase the understanding of gender diversity and improve the lives of trans people.

NYX cosmetics has teamed up with UK Black Pride and Stonewall, and has launched its PROUDLY PRO-YOU initiative to represent and celebrate the talents of LGBTQIA+ people of colour. The brand has also released a line of bold products which include the #ThisIsEverything Lip Oil, £6.95, the Limited Edition Pride Matte Setting Spray, £8.50, the Limited Edition Pride Ultimate Eye Paints, £9 and the Limited Edition Pride Wonder Stick Blush Prism of Love, £11.95.

Skin Proud is partnering with LGBTQ+ artist Bee Illustrates and LGBT Foundation on their ASOS exclusive PRIDE Campaign launching on May 30. The brand will debut the Skin Proud Pride Edit and will consist of the Velvet Cloud Cleanser, Fruit Smoothie Exfoliator and Clear Off Microfibre Pads, plus a limited-edition bandana designed by Bee Illustrates. The edit will be available on ASOS for £25 and 20% of all sales will be donated to the LGBT Foundation.
