Megababe’s Cult Anti-Chafe Stick Is Finally Available To Buy In The UK

Plus, six new beauty launches to get excited about this week.

This Sellout Anti-Chafe Balm Is Finally Available In The UK
Megababe

When founder and body positivity champion Katie Sturino first came up with Megababe, a brand for providing solutions to “taboo” body issues like chafing, body odour, and excessive sweating, her friends and family thought the idea was too niche. But when she launched her first anti-chafe stick in 2017, the product sold out within a week, and her second product, a natural deodorant, at one point had a 13,000-strong waitlist. Like many cult-favourite brands, Megababe has only been available in the States. That is, until now.

Megababe has finally launched in the UK and will be available to buy exclusively at Cult Beauty. The seven-piece offering includes a range of anti-chafing products including a balm, deodorant, powder for boob sweat, and body wipes.

Ranging between £6.50 and £17, the affordable range promises to break down body taboos, and offer solutions for your self-care concerns. The brand’s Thigh Rescue anti-chafe stick, £8, is a godsend for thighs that touch, especially during the hot summer months. It’s been so popular in the U.S. that a product is sold every two minutes online, thanks to its ability to smoothly glide across the skin to create a barrier that prevents your skin from chafing and irritation. It can also be used on your shoulders, toes, elbows, or anywhere else you chafe.

The Smoothie Deo, £12, is a natural deodorant designed to leave your underarms smelling fresh no matter the weather. Made with pH-balancing fruit enzymes, the deodorant fights against odour and nourishes the skin in just one swipe. Made with lemon, orange, and bilberry extracts that help to rebalance, as well as probiotic Lactobacillus ferment that helps your skin product and regulate good microbes for added protection. Happy Pits, £14, and the detoxifying, charcoal underarm soap, The Space Bar, £6.50, is the perfect duo for combating body odour.

Unlike your grandmother’s dusting powder, Body Dust, £17, offers a first line of defence against sweat, and is skin soothing and talc-free. Made with cooling aloe, antioxidant-rich chamomile, antiseptic lavender, and moisturising corn starch, it promotes soft, smooth, and sweat-free skin.

As the weather heats up, we predict that this range will fly off the shelves in the UK as it did across the pond. Plus, there are six other new beauty launches to be excited about this week.
