Orange, red and pink lipstick may be all the rage this fall and winter, but Kourtney Kardashian has banned bright colors on her pout indefinitely. Say what!? A Kardashian barefaced without a glam lip? Is that even possible? The oldest sister of reality TV's first family shared the reasoning for her unexpected lipstick hiatus with Fashionista, blaming it on a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
“I just happened to catch our show on at the hotel [this morning], and I saw I had a bright lip the whole episode and I was so over it — and I was like, I’m not wearing a bright lip for two years,” Kardashian said. We don't blame her — we'd all probably find a few things we didn't like about our looks if we got to watch ourselves on national TV, too.
Kourtney Kardashian isn't the only one who doesn't love herself in a bold lip. The "Lord," longtime beau Scott Disick is not a fan. Kardashian told E! News, "He likes less-is-more makeup, which still requires some work."
How long Kardashian will last without a bold-colored lip hue? We'll see. It would definitely be a challenge for us, but at least the nude lip is in this season, too. We wish you the best of luck, Kourt!
