Maddie And Mackenzie Ziegler Dance The Fall Trends

by Julia Guerra

At only twelve years old, Maddie Ziegler has danced her way into top-charting music videos, cameo roles in television series like ABC's Pretty Little Liars and Dancing With The Stars, and modeling gigs for Target and Capezio, among others. Recently the Dance Moms prodigy starred in Glamour's video "Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler Dance Like Fall's Major Trends," in which the young performer and her sister showcase this upcoming season's blooming trends while giving a playful performance. The video is guaranteed to make you swoon in adoration — for the clothes and the level of cuteness these sisters achieve.

The video is set in a magical dance studio where on-trend clothing appears out of the blue and onto Ziegler's body. I guess it's sort of like your typical dressing room experience, minus her wardrobe changes are probably ten times more graceful and there is way better background music. I mean, doesn't everyone sashay their way into their knit sweaters?

There is no denying that the girl has some serious style, whether it's on the dance floor or worn on her back. Bringing the two art forms together for Glamour's fall trends presentation was a clever move on the glossy's end. I couldn't take my eyes off Ziegler's graceful motion, in turn unable to ignore the trends in front of me. After watching once or twice, I'm not only ready to shop the trends, but someone sign me up for ballet lessons.

Check out this upcoming seasons new trends below and make sure to watch the full video to see the Ziegler sister's break them down for you.

1. Chunky Knit Sweaters

Do chunky knits ever really go out of style? Not only are they super cute, but they allow you to get away with being comfy and trendy.

2. Shine Pieces

A sure-fire way to make a statement this fall.

3. Statement Coats

Any basic ensemble can go from drab to fab by throwing on a statement coat, like the green and white number Ziegler's sporting.

4. Tweed

I will always associate tweed skirts with a very school girl-esque vibe. Classic.

5. Graphic Patterns

You can't go wrong with graphics.

6. Shift Dresses

Shift dresses can be dressed up or dressed down. They are easy to wear and flatter every body type. A solid piece for any season.
