5 Thoughts You Have Alone At A Party

So, you're at a party that your friend brought you to at which you know no one else — and they leave to go to the bathroom, leaving you all by your lonesome. Cue the panic, right? But actually, BuzzFeed's "Thoughts You Have Alone At Parties" video about this very situation might be just a little too real. Honestly, if you want to know why girls go to the bathroom in groups, this is probably all the explanation you need.

I will be the first to admit I am awkward at parties even under the most ideal of conditions. In fact, I've never been good at parties — as a child at family get-togethers, I could most often be found tucked into a guest bedroom reading a book. (And if any cousins try to tell you that they caught me doing that as a full-grown adult at last year's family Thanksgiving, well, they are liars and you shouldn't listen to them.) So really, it was only inevitable that I would grow up not knowing how to behave in large groups of people. Honestly, being left alone at a party where I don't know anyone is my nightmare.

Actually, I take that back. The real nightmare is if I'm left alone at a party where I don't know anyone and my phone is also dead. How did awkward people exist before the invention of the smartphone? I do not know.
