Well, this is sweet: According to Us Weekly, Victoria's Secret model Lindsay Ellingson is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Sean Clayton, after he popped the question late last month while the two were on vacation. The two have reportedly been together for six years.
The engagement apparently took place over Thanksgiving weekend, when the two were at Clayton's family's home in Ohio. At the time, Ellingson didn't give any hint about an engagement on social networking sites, but she did share a photo of Clayton's parents' snow-covered property on her Instagram, with the caption, "Hope everyone is enjoying the day with family and friends. Happy Thanksgiving! So thankful for all of my loved ones ❤ #Snowyturkeyday."
It wasn't until a screening of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in NYC on Dec. 10 that Ellingson sort of revealed the news by showing up to the event with her engagement ring on. According to a source present at the event, "Ellingson's fellow Angels were gushing over her ring" during the screening. Two days later, Ellingson verbally confirmed the news to E! Online : "Yes, it's true!" she said. "My love proposed last month and I couldn't be happier!"
No word yet on where/when the wedding will be held. Congrats to the happy couple!
