These Candles Cry Beautiful, Scented Tears

In case you were wondering, yes, it is September already, and yes, you need these candles that cry scented tears now. It might still be a hot one, like seven inches from the midday sun, but autumn is imminent (maybe, probably), and as such we must make all our flavors spiced with pumpkin and all our candles Halloween-worthy. The candles come from designers The Jacks, a South Korean team who created candles in the image of skulls, deer, and rabbits so that when they burn, they cry wax tears out of their ceramic holders. I mean, imagine a room full of these at Halloween. Sufficiently spooky while also being very apartment design chic, non?

The Jacks have a Kickstarter to fund mass production of the candles and crying holders, and luckily for us, they've already met their goal — although I'm sure if you wanted to donate it would still be very much appreciated. I'm personally saving up my dollars to buy one each of the candles from The Jacks' website. The amazing ceramic candle holders can also easily be turned into adorable planters for small succulents once they've all cried out, so you'll have a purpose for them even after all the wax tears have been shed.
