These Beauty Products Have The Prettiest Packages

by Miki Hayes

I have a confession: I obsess over packaging. So naturally, I'm always drawn to the most prettily packaged cosmetics. But this condition of mine goes way back. I was one of those kids who, when I received presents, would get more excited about (and want to play with) the box the gift came in than the gift itself. And even though I'm a little better now and don't (always) have to keep the box something came in, I do still pay attention to the way objects are housed. And when it comes to makeup, sometimes the packaging carries just as much weight as what's inside.

I know this isn't necessarily logical. When you buy something for the purpose it will serve, it shouldn't really matter how it's packaged. BUT IT DOES. I can't help how I feel about lipstick cases and powder compacts. But I'm glad you can't either. It makes obsessing over packaging that much better when we can obsess together. So feel free to let your inner packaging-hoarder out as we fawn all over these 17 beautifully packaged cosmetics. Oh, and of course the contents are still amazing too. But it'll be hard to tell with some of these if the inside or outside is better. Regardless, these are the lippies and powders and polishes (oh my) that you'll definitely want to put on display. It would almost be a crime not to.
