One supermodel is now proving that even good girls have a wild side. Kendall Jenner revealed a nipple piercing at the Harper's Bazaar Icons party during NYFW, and now she is explaining why. The unorthodox body art is pretty shocking coming from anyone, but Kendall?! I would have never expected it from her in a million years — and that's exactly why I'm obsessed with it.

The 19-year-old donned a stunning white gown to the NYFW week event last week that was more than just a little sheer. Whether she meant to flaunt her piercing or not, it was clearly visible through the ultra thin fabric, and it got everyone talking. After much speculation from the public eye, Jenner decided to finally put the rumors to rest.

During her Estée Lauder fragrance launch event in NYC, the model confirmed her new hardware, telling Page Six "It is true." She proceeded to dish, “I was going through a period in my life, having a rough time, being a rebel and was like ‘Let’s just do it.’”

This rationale makes me an even bigger fan of Jenner's. It's totally a step in the body positive direction, empowering other young women to take ownership of their bodies and disregard judgement from others.

“[I was] so terrified, I’m laying on the bed like ‘Why am I doing this,’” Jenner added. “Honestly, it hurt, but wasn’t as bad as everyone made it seem and maybe because everyone hyped it up and I thought it would be really, really bad. Then it wasn’t as bad as I expected.” Jenner told Page Six.
