Who Are The Best Real Housewives Couples?

by Marenah Dobin

It might come as a surprise, but most of the Real Housewives aren't even wives. A lot of them are actually divorced, searching for love, or happily single. As for the ones who are in relationships, some of the couples make me cringe in front of my television screen, while there are plenty other pairings who make me pretty envious because they are so perfect. So, who is the best Real Housewives couple? That's pretty hard to say, but not all couples are created equal, so let's break down.

It's difficult because Real Housewives relationships don't make for your average couple. First of all, they are featured on popular reality television shows, so their spats, sweet moments, and everything in between are up for public consumption. Second, most of these couples are pretty wealthy, so aside from the normal trials and tribulations of a relationship, their lives are just out of most viewers' realms of imagination. But at the same time, when you strip away the money and the reality cameras, there is something about these relationships that we can all identify with. So, on top of having fame, wealth, and romance, they're also down-to-earth? Check out the 11 Real Couples below, who are redefining relationship goals.

11. Lisa Rinna & Harry Hamlin

The only reason these two are at number 11 is because I feel like we barely "know" them. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is really just Lisa's thing. Harry Hamlin is more of a private person when it comes to the show, but the few glimpses we have seen of these two together make it clear that their love is strong. Plus, Harry will forever be an integral part of Real Housewives history thanks to Lisa asking Kim Richards, "What did Harry do?"

10. Lauri & George Peterson

This duo wasn't on Real Housewives of Orange County for a long time, but their courtship and wedding was a reality television fairytale. Lauri went from being a single mother to marrying Prince Charming himself. She showed everyone that it's possible to find true love later in life.

9. Kandi Burruss & Todd Tucker

Kandi and Todd might seem like a weird choice for this list because "harmonious couple" is not exactly what comes to mind for us Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers. But if you think about it, these two have gone through so much, especially with Kandi's mother, Mama Joyce, and are still together and trying to make it work. They are a strong unit and deserve some recognition.

8. Tamra & Eddie Judge

It was tough watching the end of Tamra's marriage to Simon Barney. Thankfully, she transitioned out of that pretty seamlessly when she found Eddie soon after. He is a bit younger than her, looks smoking hot, and is sweet as can be. And on top of that, these two co-own a gym together. How perfect.

7. NeNe & Gregg Leakes

I wish that someone adored me as much as Gregg adores NeNe. Gregg is NeNe's biggest fan and supporter. After divorcing, these two got back together and became a stronger couple than ever.

6. Shannon & David Beador

Don't judge me with this one. Yes, I know that David and Shannon were not getting along at all last season on RHOC and this year we learned that David was actually having an affair. So, why are they on this list? They are making a conscious effort to work on their marriage and strengthen their family. They are more devoted to each other and it seems like their hard work is paying off.

5. Kyle Richards & Mauricio Umansky

From this point on, it's really hard to rank the couples. The top five are all pretty enviable. Kyle and Mauricio have a nice relationship. They are so in love, but not over-the-top about showing it off. They each do their own thing, but are are still very supportive of each other.

4. Lisa Vanderpump & Ken Todd

Lisa and Ken crack me up on RHOBH. They are always joking with each other and Ken supports all of Lisa's ideas and ventures. He spoils her and lets her be the boss in an interaction that just makes great television. If Lisa and Ken ever broke up, I would stop believing in love.

3. Heather & Terry Dubrow

I love Heather and Terry has a couple because they keep it real. Well, they keep it real as much as a successful plastic surgeon an a reality star possibly can. They have their little tiffs here and there, but they are always loving and supporting each other. Heather even tried putting leeches on her body to test out their medical effectiveness for her doctor husband. That's commitment.

2. Yolanda & David Foster

I have never seen a more openly in love couple than the Fosters. They are always having date nights and orchestrating surprises for each other. I cannot even imagine being in the same room with them when I feel such a strong love between them through the television. He has also been her rock in her battle with Lyme disease and has encouraged her to persevere through her tough battle.

1. Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann

I know that Kim and Kroy technically are not a Real Housewives couple anymore because they have their own spinoff series, but Real Housewives of Atlanta is where their love started. Kroy embraces Kim for who she is and he adopted her two daughters because he views them as his children. They have such a funny dynamic and a great partnership. These two love each other so much without being pretentious about it and it has always been enjoyable to watch.

It was tough narrowing down the list, because all of these pairings make for great couples who are as easy to support as they are entertaining to watch.
