Taylor Swift Does Purple Lips For 'NME' Cover

It's Taylor in technicolor! Taylor Swift covers NME , rocking purple lips and a bold, graphic print bomber jacket, which is so on point this season. The squad captain has been veering off her usual fashion script lately, showing off some edgier and bolder looks lately. Like her sparkly VMAs crop top and pants. Her NME cover look certainly falls in line with the "new" Swift, in terms of her evolving style.

Such "loudness" is a bit out of character for America's Sweetheart, who often favors classic red lips and winged, black liner. She's not stepping out of that comfort zone here; she full on leapt out of it! Go Tay Tay. What's so striking about this shot is how the white eyeliner on her lower waterline accentuates her baby blues, as do her lash-grazing bangs.

But once your eyes land on her pretty purple lips, it's all over! It's a mid-toned yet intense purple shade. Since Swift is fair-skinned, this color could look a bit chalky. But her pout appears amped up, thanks to a few coats of the color.

It's also applied perfectly and it still pops against the jacket, with which it competes, due to the loud print and colors.

It's a fun and funky look for Swift.

Her sexy posturing, with her hands behind her head, and the '80s shag also add some extra hotness the shot. I love when Swift ditches her usual red lipstick and tries something else on her pucker.
