Kaley Cuoco Covers Up Wedding Tat With New Ink

by May Sofi

So you got a tattoo of your S.O., but he/she is no longer significant. What do you do? Morph it into something else, of course. Kaley Cuoco covered up a tattoo of her wedding date with a fresh new butterfly tat, and documented the whole thing on Instagram. Body ink may be permanent, but with the right tattoo artist there is always a way of turning a regretful decision into something positive.

The 29-year-old shared a photo of herself getting tatted on Tuesday with some hilarious hashtags. She captioned the picture, "Thank you @nero_sct @studiocitytattoo for helping me right my wrongs.. note to self- do not mark your body with any future wedding dates #under30mistakes #donttakeyourselftooseriouslykids." LOL. Thanks for the life advice! The actress split from ex-hubby Ryan Sweeting just two months ago, so I give her major props for handling the whole thing with a little sense of humor.

Cuoco's old tattoo read the day she married Sweeting, December 31st 2013, in Roman numerals on her upper back. The new design is very insect-like, complete with large fanned out wings and lots of intricate details, resembling a unique butterfly. As for the meaning of this new ink? according to Cuoco, "the deep, meaningful, larger than life meaning behind this beautiful piece of ink, is..... It covered the last one." Gotta do what you gotta do, right? Mission accomplished.

Check out the photo evidence.

You go girl.

No sign of the old tat here.
