Latte art is such a mystical thing. Anyone with the capacity to transform milk foam and coffee into something so lovely should seriously receive an acceptance letter from Hogwarts. Of course you have your everyday latte hearts and even the more unconventional latte kittens — but someone finally took to the next level and created Disney Princesses in latte art.
What's more, the maker of these lattes totally slayed it. It would feel so wrong to even take a sip of one of these creations (though I am certain they are as delicious as they are beautiful). Fortunately, the creation of these lattes has been immortalized in video form for us to enjoy again and again, without the caffeine jitters.
The video, just published on Cosmopolitan's YouTube channel, features professional barista and latte art aficionado Michael Breach (who you might remember from these equally impressive latte art memes) recreating the likenesses of Elsa, Ariel, Pocahontas, Belle, and Jasmine using only a tiny toothpick and a dash of milk. Breach's Instagram features numerous other latte creations including Hotline Bling Drake, Karl Lagerfeld, and Taylor Swift — all of them jaw-droppingly fabulous.
Only one question remains: is it possible to get latte art into the Louvre?
Wouldn't a hot beverage melt Elsa's ice powers? Whatever — I won't think too deeply into it. Instead, I will continue being hypnotized by this GIF.
This might be the most mind-boggling of the five. A latte is already a small enough canvas and you want to try drawing fingers in there? Props, man.
The shading on her face and detail in her hair is so beautiful. Pocahontas is my favorite, though, so I'm potentially biased.
