Amy Schumer's Throwback Will Make Your Hanukkah

by Caitlyn Callegari

As Buddy the Elf of Elf probably would have said — the best way to spread Hanukkah cheer is baby Amy Schumer singing loud for all to hear. OK, I guess I should clarify: The forever on-point Schumer took to Instagram, saying, "Happy Hanukkah from me! #tbs" to wish her followers a good holiday, but she did so in the best way she knew how: Posting one of her heart-achingly adorable throwback videos. Because as usual, Schumer's throwbacks are better than everyone else's.

In the Instagram video, us viewers are subject to a lovely, multi-faceted performance featuring tambourine-playing and clapping while little Schumer sings, "It's just happy Hanukkah, happy Hanukkah, happy Hanukkah, happy Hanukkah... to you and you!" to the camera. Now, I don't know if she has a wealth of these sorts of videos, but one can hope there's enough to evenly distribute throughout all eight nights, right? Right.

And listen, even if you don't celebrate Hanukkah, the cuteness emanating from this video should get your holiday season, or just your December, off to the right start. It's bright and cheery and totally innocent, and we could use a lot more of that sort of thing in this world as of late, couldn't we?

If you want to see Schumer in all of her Hanukkah glory, you can check out the sweet and festive video below:

Should I start the petition for her to do a cover of this jam as a 34-year-old woman? You're right. I should.
