We're in crunch time people. It's T-minus 7 days until Christmas, and if you're anything like me, you haven't finished shopping. Don't fret too much, though. There are plenty of stores that are open late on Christmas Eve, just for the procrastinator in us all. So whether you're still looking for the ideal perfume for mom or the perfect tie for dad, you've got lots of options. Just be warned that Christmas Eve shopping is essentially Black Friday shopping without the sales, so be safe out there.
Stores across the country are staying open late for the procrastinating holiday shopper. Black Friday came and went. Cyber Monday passed with your online shopping needs met. Green Monday is now gone. So, where does a person go if they've missed all the traditional pre-Christmas shopping days? You may think online shopping is the best bet, but shipping is about to get a little hairy. The United States Postal Service had their busiest day of the year on Monday, Dec. 14, and according to FedEx Home Delivery, Wednesday Dec. 16 was their cut off for Christmas day. You have one more day for UPS using their 3-Day Select, but if you want to skip those pesky shipping fees altogether, heading into a store is going to be your best option. Thankfully, these late hours of major retailers are going to be super useful — just be sure to check with your local stores to verify first.
Macy's
Macy's will be staying open until 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve making your midnight shopping almost possible.
Target
Everyone's favorite store retailer for well, everything, is open until 11 p.m., but seriously, be careful with this one. We all know that when you walk into Target for one thing, you leave with eight things.
Best Buy
Best Buy may not be staying open late on Christmas Eve, but holy mess are they open a lot leading up to the big day. The store has extended hours on Monday, Dec. 22 and Tuesday, Dec. 23 until midnight.
Kohl's
In case you've missed the news, Kohl's is open for a whopping 170-hour shopping mania. While Kohl's is closing early on Christmas Eve — 6 p.m. — I couldn't leave it off the list because of the insanity of nearly a week of 24 hours operation.
Nordstrom
While Nordstrom isn't open late Christmas Eve, they've expanded their hours for the holiday. The retailer will be open from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m. in the days leading up to Christmas Day.
Toys-R-Us
Toys-R-Us is offering extended hours — majorly extended. They'll be open for a full 39 hours leading up to Christmas Eve. So, you'll be able to nab presents for the kiddos in your life.
Old Navy
Starting Friday, Dec. 18, Old Navy will be open until midnight every day until Christmas Eve when they'll close at 7 p.m., which is plenty late, in my opinion.
