Julianne Hough Is A Fan Of Sparkly Sequins

by Melanie Richtman

It's that time of year again: awards show season. Wednesday night, the stars hit the red carpet for the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles, and as you can imagine, they dressed to impress. That's especially true for Dancing With The Stars veteran and actor Julianne Hough, who stunned in a slinky black, sequin dress at the People's Choice Awards.

Hough's black dress was no LBD (little black dress), but rather a floor-length, off-the-shoulder gown with cut-outs on the sides and under the bust. It actually looked like it was wet, which I think is a good thing? (The more I stare at it, the more I think it looks like it was made out of black duct tape — but in a good way.) Hough paired her slick dress with minimal accessories, only wearing a small set of earrings and carrying a clutch, and the result was fabulous.

But it wasn't just her red carpet attire that caught our attention. Hough's signature blonde hair was pulled up into a super chic, looped topknot, and her makeup was just as pretty, as she rocked a fresh-faced look with glowing, perfectly highlighted skin and a coppery-bronze smokey eye.

Hough, who will appear in Grease: Live as the ultimate good girl Sandy (airing Jan. 31 on FOX), has always been a star when it comes to red carpet dressing, and clearly Wednesday's appearance at the People's Choice Awards is no different.

Hough looked super duper smokin'.

Especially as she laughed alongside pal and co-star Vanessa Hudgens.

Do you think she gives lessons on strobing?
