What's In H&M's Conscious Collection Beauty Range?

H&M is committed to not only fabulous high-low fashion mashups with the likes of Alexander Wang and Balmain. It's also committed to sustainability and eco-conscious offerings. The fast fashion brand is launching a line of skin, hair, and body products. These beauty items are part of H&M's Conscious Collection. What comprises the range? Well, it's super skin and hair-focused and the products are good for your body, good for your hair, and good for your wallet. They're also good for Mother Earth, since they are organic and the adorbs containers are made of recycled paper and plastic.

This line is amazing for all sorts of reasons but mainly because H&M is making natural products both affordable and available and that's not always the case for products of this ilk. H&M is basically applying its successful fast fashion philosophy to sustainable beauty. It's a proven formula, so it makes sense for H&M to expand upon it.

Allure reports that the H&M Conscious Collection is minus stuff like GMOs, parabens, and synthetic dyes or fragrances. The products are priced between $7 and $13

The items are available as of next week in select locations. The wide rollout continues through March 2016 and it will be available online and in certain stores.

Here is a rundown of what the collection contains.

There are two core scents in which the products come — Vitalising, which has citrus notes of grape and lime, as well as Relaxing, which boasts lavender and vetiver.

All Over Oil! Ooh! That's perfect for all climates and seasons.

The Cooling and Hydrating Face Masks contain aloe vera and they come housed in cool, silver tins that I want to repurpose and use to store stuff.

There's also aluminum-free Gentle Deodorant, Nurturing Shampoo, a mega hydrating All Over Oil, Body Cream, Hand Cream, and Hand Wash.

I can't get enough of the simple packaging, which has an apothecary-like vibe.

Plus, the labels tell you exactly what the product is and what it's made of.

It's like full disclosure and that's really refreshing when you are super concerned about what you feed your skin and hair to keep it healthy.

Big ups to H&M for all elements of its Conscious Collection.

"We already offer conscious choices with our fashion collections so it is natural for us to have the same offering within our beauty collection," said Sara Wallander, concept designer at H&M Beauty. "We always aim to develop our products to high and responsible standards in both materials and production. With the conscious range we have taken this philosophy even further. We are very proud to now be able to offer organic beauty to our customers."

Aren't the containers awesome? The Conscious Collection is an extension of the 700-strong beauty product range that launched in 2015.
