How To Wear Bright Pink Lipstick

by Jessica Willingham

Ready for spring? Nothing slays warm weather street style like a bright pink lip. It's iconic, fun, and chic with any outfit, no matter where you're going. Here's how to wear bright pink lipstick, no matter your skin tone.

Pink lips are a perfect reflection of bright spring days, and pair well with the lighter, fresher makeup we all start rocking when the days are warm. A pink pout should be treated like its own fashion accessory — it's a statement. A bit of BB cream, a pop of blush, a dab of highlighter, mascara, and a bright pink lipstick create an easy, go-to look.

But like all things with makeup, there are a number of ways to rock it, most especially based off skin tone. From cool neons to warm corals, there are a ton of color options for all skin hues. Here's what I think is a good rule to remember when picking out pink shades: Fair skin is best complemented by cool-toned pinks, bright corals and mauves work lovely on olive skin, and violet pinks look super beautiful on deep skin tones.

Pink definitely offers the most versatility in terms of ways to wear it. Matte, gloss, and sheen formulations are all spring-approved when they come in such a fresh color. Here are the best pink lipsticks for all skin tones.

For Fair Skin
