The Craziest Outfits In ACM History Are Amazing

There is one thing you can count on when it comes to country music, and that is super flashy fashion. As demonstrated by the American Country Music Awards' history, big hair, sparkly dresses, and bedazzled cowboy boots mean our favorite country crooners never disappoint on the red carpet. To prove just how good country red carpets can be, I’ve rounded up some of the most memorable and outrageous looks from past ACMs.

Whether or not you like country music, it simply doesn’t matter. If you love a bold sartorial moment, this ACM red carpet flashback is for you. From daring prints to bright colors and a bevy of sequins, country singers never cease to amaze me with their statement-making styles. While the bigger is better mentality has been replaced by minimalism in the last couple of years, country music stars seem to have missed the memo, as their hair is still high and their outfits are, to say the least, pretty spectacular.

I'm not quite sure what look Ballard was going for here, but the blazer was definitely statement-making.

I'm not sure, but I think the Little Big Town singers were going for a Saint Barts meets Nashville vibe.
