Honor's Fall 2014 NYFW Collection Brings Ladylike Back
Amid numerous collections infused with masculine charm and sportive elements, Honor's Fall 2014 runway assured us that ladylike fashion is still on the radar. We're not sure if it was the imminence of Valentine's Day, but romance was certainly in the air at Honor, from the softly falling snow at the runway entrance to the vintage tunes about love playing in the background. Designer Giovanna Randall once again channeled her whimsical aesthetic into a collection that combined demure, prim style with unapologetically coquettish designs.
Each ensemble played with flirtatious details but remained subtly alluring and insouciant as opposed to overtly seductive. After 2013 made gratuitous displays of skin the norm (Miley and Robin Thicke, we're looking at you), Honor's modern Victorian approach to Fall 2014 is refreshing, to say the least. Consider us under Honor's spell.
