Leonardo DiCaprio Turned Down 'Hocus Pocus' & Has Been Cursed Ever Since

Well guys, we've figured it out. We now know why Leonardo DiCaprio has been consistently snubbed by the Academy, and the cause of all the other misfortune in his life: Earlier today, it was revealed that DiCaprio turned down Hocus Pocus and the role of Max Dennison, despite being offered boat loads of money. Apparently, he did so that he could appear in the critically acclaimed film, What's Eating Gilbert Grape? (Like, I guess that makes sense?)

Seriously though, you can't just throw shade like that at the Sanderson sisters and expect to get away with it. It's become perfectly clear that Hocus Pocus cast a spell on DiCaprio after he deigned to decline the part, and here's proof.
