Weed Porn Is A Thing & Here's What You Should Know

As many people have already figured out, there’s a connection between weed and sex. It's actually been scientifically proven a couple of times. Because MJ and sex seem to make a good pair, the folks over at Pornhub analyzed data on marijuana-related porn searches throughout the year in honor of 4/20. Apparently, weed porn is pretty popular. Who knew?

Rule 34 of the Internet pretty much states if it exists, there is a porn of it. More often than not, you can probably find it on Pornhub. According to Pornhub, weed smoking is a pretty popular fetish on the site. Their Golden Age of Pornhub insights found that “smoking” was the eighth most popular search term for people between the ages of 45 and 54-years-old. As their Up in Smoke report from June 2015 found, videos highlighting people specifically smoking weed were found to be one of the most popular niches among its users overall.

So, in honor of 4/20 holiday, here are some things to know on “puff puff porn” in order to complete your 4/20 experience. But first, check out our video on sex positions to help him last longer:

1. Marijuana Searches See A HUGE Increase On 4/20

Pornhub found a 263 percent increase above the typical daily average in marijuana related searches on April 20, 2015. So people most definitely want their weed porn on National Weed Day.

2. The Most Common Terms Combined With “Weed” Are “Smoking” And “Sex”

When it comes to the most common weed related search terms, “weed” is obviously number one. Other common related terms include “marijuana,” “pot,” “joint,” “420,” “cannabis,” and “hash.” But the terms most often combined with “weed” were “smoking” and “sex.” Other popular terms include “high,” “girl,” and “smoke.”

3. People In Vermont Search For Marijuana Porn The Most

People in Vermont sure love their weed porn. They were 44 percent more likely to search for weed related porn than any other state in the U.S. New Hampshire, Colorado, Washington, and Rhode Island round out the top five.

According to Pornhub, most of the states on their top 15 have some form of decriminalization or rules allowing medical use. Wisconsin was the only one where weed remains fully illegal.

4. People In Oklahoma Aren’t That Into It

At the bottom of the list were Oklahoma, Delaware, West Virginia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. As Pornhub found, the states that searched for weed porn the least had larger penalties for possession.

Major coastal states like New York and California also fell towards the bottom of the list. People there were found to be less likely to search for weed-related porn.

5. Younger People Are More Likely To Search For Weed Porn Over Any Other Age Groups

In fact, 18- to 24-year-olds were 122 percent more likely to search for weed porn than anyone else.

6. Men Search For It More Than Women

About 114 percent more. Not really too surprising there.

7. Pinky Is The Most Searched For “Smoking-Hot” Porn Star

According to Pornhub’s Up In Smoke report, “Pinky weed” is the most popular marijuana search using a porn star name. They pinpoint her popularity for her starring role in Magical Pinky Weed, where she appears in a “genie-esque way after three friends smoke a special strain.” They also note that the word “magical” also shows up on the list of top searched terms. Pinky is followed by Madison Ivy and Christy Mack.
