How To Copy Kourtney Kardashian's Makeup Look

by Alexa Dragoumis

If you've been looking for the perfect summer makeup look, look no further. Tuesday night on Instagram, Kourtney Kardashian shared a photo of herself wearing a nude shade of lipstick with an amazing combination of bronzey, almost champagne-like shades on her eyes. The caption read, "In a mood." In a mood to slay, I say!

Considering the Kardashian family makeup looks are always on point, this should really come as no surprise. But, as someone who generally tends to stick to more natural-looking makeup, I was excited to see this more glamorous look on the eldest Kardashian. It was so gorgeous, in fact, that it made me wonder how I could recreate it myself.

Being a brown-eyed belle myself, I often have a hard time finding the right combination of shadow shades to really make my eyes pop. However, judging from Kardashian's photo, this glowy combo of colors really seems to do the trick. If you're as intrigued as I am by these photos, chances are you're probably wondering how to create a similar look. The good news: I've already done the research to help you find the perfect palettes and lip shades to help you re-create it.

But first, the photos, since you're probably dying to see the look:

Told you it's worth copying! Here's another:

Envious yet? Good! Let's get to work.

1. Prep Your Skin

Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, $62, Sephora

OK, so I don't actually know what brand of foundation Kardashian uses, but Kim K. told Into The Gloss that this Armani foundation was one of her favorites. (Great minds/sisters think alike, right?)

2. Highlight & (Lightly) Contour

Naked Flushed, $32, Sephora

Part of the trick to mastering the above look is creating the illusion of a perfect glow. To do that, you need a highlight/contour kit. Highlight the bridge of your nose, the tops of your cheekbones (above where you apply your blush), and the center of your forehead and chin. Apply blush to just the apples of your cheeks and a little extra bronzer underneath your cheekbones.

3. Stick To Neutral Shadows With Shimmer

Too Faced Neutral Eye Shadow Collection, $36, Sephora

If you take a close look at the photo, you'll notice that Kardashian's eyeshadows aren't exactly bronze. They're more of a peachy/champagne look. Too Faced has just the palette to recreate this combo. Apply the lightest shade, Heaven, all over the lid and all the way up to the brow. Next, apply Silk Teddy, the pinky-peach shimmer shade to the lid, and mix Nudie and Cashmere Bunny into the crease. Next, add Erotica, the purple shimmer shade, to the outer V. Finally, mix Chocolate Martini and Sexpresso to line the eyes (and pull some of the color under the eye stopping in the center).

4. Create A Subtle Cat Eye With Black Liner

Stila All Day Stay Liquid Liner, $22, Sephora

Line just along the lashes and create a subtle cat eye using a liquid liner. You will want to create a thick enough line where you could apply falsies without the glue line showing!

5. Add False Eyelashes

Kiss True Volume False Lashes, $3, WalMart

Let's be real, no Kardashian look would be complete without falsies.

6. Finish With A Nude Lipstick

La Matte Color, 20, Too Faced

Since Kardashian's lipstick is more of a peachy nude, I would say go with Candy K by Kylie Jenner, but since it's sold out, opt for Sorry Not Sorry by Too Faced.

Style your hair straight and voila, you'll be rocking that "In the mood" look just like Kourtney Kardashian in no time.
