'Teen Mom 2' Star Avoids Fiery Explosion

After watching shows like Teen Mom, all I really think of is Farrah Abraham’s horrible pornography with James Deen, not to be confused with actual James Dean since he’s not living and didn’t do pornos, and of the fact that the show is now a form of birth control. Rarely does it seem that news about the MTV show is ever positive (although birth control is definitely great), and yet again bad things are happening to the stars of the show. On Feb. 21, Teen Mom 2’s Adam Lind was involved in a severe car accident, which could have taken his life.

The star was driving a 2001 Corvette Z06 and crashed with a Lincoln Town Car being driven by an 87-year-old woman, according to Us Magazine. Although Lind had been driving alone, the Lincoln was also carrying a 94-year-old passenger. Thankfully, witnesses to the accident put their best foot forward and pulled everyone out of the car wreck only seconds before Lind’s car became engulfed in flames.

After the accident, all three people involved, including Lind, were taken to a hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Although Chelsea Houska, Lind’s ex, did not comment on the accident, his current girlfriend Taylor Halbur took to social media, tweeting, “Sometimes we forget how precious life is.. never take it for granted. It is a fragile thing and we never know what the future holds.”

Well said. We’re just thankful that Lind is okay and that neither his girlfriend nor his two daughters were in the car at the time.
