Don't Give Up On Lady Stoneheart Yet, 'GoT' Fans

Not to sound like a broken record or anything, but does anyone else feel like Lady Stoneheart could actually appear on Game of Thrones next week after watching the latest teaser promo for "No One?" Because while the clip shows many familiar faces (like a very heated Brienne and Jaime reunion), there was one thing in particular that immediately caught my attention: the presence of the Brotherhood Without Banners. For those of you who need a little refresher on who these guys are, they're made up of a group of outlaws who hold a severe grudge against the Lannisters. You should also recognize a few members of their party, such as Thoros of Myr and Beric Dondarrion, both of whom Arya came across back during her more innocent days. In fact, she even witnessed them using the Lord of Light for resurrectional purposes. Perhaps their return signifies that another resurrection is about to (or already has) taken place.

In George R.R. Martin's novels, the brotherhood found and kept Catelyn's body for Thoros to resurrect. When he refused to do it, claiming she'd been dead for too long, Beric stepped up and generously decided to give her the kiss of life (killing himself the process) in order for her to return. (I guess it was a "life for a life" type of deal.) However, she didn't come back like the Mama Stark we once knew. Unlike Jon Snow, who still seems miraculously unfazed at being brought back from the dead, Catelyn becomes Lady Stoneheart, who has a thirst for revenge on those who've harmed her family. So what better reason would the Brotherhood have for returning if not for this monumental moment to reveal her as their newest leader?

I still have a hard time grasping why the showrunners would choose to overlook such a major aspect of the book. And then I remember how adamant they were about Jon Snow not coming back to life and feel like it's only a matter of time before they lie to us once again. Lady Stoneheart needs to happen, and if next Sunday's "No One" episode is any indicator, this season of returns has only just begun.
