Leonardo DiCaprio's New House Is Perfect For '60s-Themed Parties — PHOTOS
Leonardo DiCaprio does not need an excuse to buy a new home, he just does it. I think "celebratory Oscar win" or "this-will-make-me-feel-better Oscar lose" would both be great reasons to purchase a house, but it looks like he has other ideas. Reportedly, Leonardo DiCaprio has bought a $5.2 million home in Palm Springs, Calif. that was once owned by singer/talk show host Dinah Shore. The house was purchased with a trust connected to DiCaprio, so it seems he was trying to keep this under wraps. According to MyDesert.com, real estate agents were required to sign confidentially agreements.
The house is 7,000 square feet and is on 1.34 acres of land. It has "six bedrooms, 7½ bathrooms and boasts a pool house, tennis court with a glass pavilion and a detached gym," People reports. Sounds like plenty of room for a single guy with no children. I'm being serious — he can have amazing giant parties. The home is midcentury style, so if you're into that, these photos do not disappoint.
Bar
For all the parties! Also, at these parties everyone has to dress like they’re in the ’60s. I’m making that executive decision.

Bedroom
This might be the master bedroom, but then again, this house is 7,000 square feet so who knows.

Bathroom
This is a bathroom. Let that sink in for a minute. (That pun was accidental, I swear.)

The View
This outdoor living room — not including the yard, just the patio — is larger than my regular living room.
