These Actors and Series Will Probably Get Emmy Nods

The 2013 Emmy nominations will be revealed tonight, but that isn't stopping fans from predicting which of their beloved shows will get a nod... and which will be iced out by the committee. We've averaged out the most common predictions for this year's award show based on reports from The L.A. Times , USA Today, IndieWire, The Hollywood Reporter, The Huffington Post , and, of course, Bustle to create the ultimate Emmys prediction list. It's an honor just to be nominated... or at least, predicted that you'll be nominated. Right?

Based on reports, here is who you should expect to snag nods come Thursday morning.

Best Drama Series

While most of the TV series on this list won't be a surprise to viewers, the Netflix original series House of Cards stands out amongst the rest. While the show was well-received by critics and fans alike, many people are still unclear of the place that online television has in the media landscape. (In fact, even here at Bustle, we've been wondering about its place.) An Emmy nomination for the series would make online TV's position amongst mainstream shows more defined.

Best Comedy Series

Modern Family — who took home the Comedy award three years in a row — has definitely lost some of its shine in its fourth season (not to mention its laughs), but there's not a chance that this ABC gem would be snubbed by the committee. Here's hoping that a different fan favorite takes the comedy award.

Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series

Danes (and her brilliant ugly cry) is once again the favorite to win the Emmy, but with the attention that Scandal is receiving, Kerry Washington could be the dark horse in the race.

Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series

While Dunham could take home the award in this category, many people believe that Fey will win for 30 Rock's final season. Either way, both women are definitely going to get a nomination.

No one really likes The Newsroom all that much, but people like Daniels' character enough to hope that he grabs a nod for the show.

Will the Emmys finally right its wrong of not giving Bateman a statue during Arrested Development's original run? Many think so — and getting a nomination is certainly a start. But can he beat Baldwin in his final year as 30 Rock's Jack Donaghy, and Cheadle, a movie star moonlighting as a TV star (an appealing title to any Emmy voter)?

Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series
