You Can Stream FOX's 'Rocky Horror' Online

by Alaina Urquhart-White

Raise your hand if you are incredibly psyched to check out FOX's remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. (*Raises hand*) It's not the kind of television event you want to miss considering the movie hasn't been remade since it premiered in 1975. So, if you find yourself without a cable subscription or not able to be in front of a television when it airs Thursday, Oct. 20, fear not. There are still ways to stream FOX's Rocky Horror Picture Show online.

After all, not everyone has the option to catch it when it airs on cable, and this is simply a must-watch TV event. As mentioned, the legendary Tim Curry (the original Dr. Frank-N-Furter) has given his seal of approval and also agreed to appear in the remake. If that wasn't enough to get you through the door, then the fact that Laverne Cox will be taking on the starring role should be plenty of reason for you to tune in. This promises to be a remake that respects the original's cult status but also brings something new to the fandom as well. Don't you want to do the Time Warp again? Of course you do. So, here is how you can stream the movie on your computer.

FOX Now App

FOX has a streaming app which allows users to view new episodes and behind-the-scenes footage on most devices. Most of the newer stuff requires you to have a cable subscription in order to log in, but it's a good alternative if you can't catch it when it originally airs or want to stream from another device on the go. You can also use your cable login to watch primetime FOX live on the network's website.

OnDemand

That's right, if you miss the original showing, don't fret. It will be available OnDemand Friday for you to stream to your heart's content.

Sling App

Normally, Sling's Blue package (which includes FOX) would cost about $25 a month but there is a seven-day free trial that you can use to catch the show for free.

Social Media

In a pinch, social media is bound to be buzzing with all of the details and shocking moments. Which ever way you watch, be sure you don't miss everyone doing the Time Warp again on Oct. 20. Also.... pation.
