Just Call Lindsay Lohan's New Accent "#LILOHAN"

Once again, LiLo is making headlines. On Tuesday, people started noticing that Lindsay Lohan has a new accent thanks to Perez Hilton sharing a video of the actor giving an interview in Athens at the opening of her nightclub on Oct. 15. There is a noticeable difference when she speaks, and it's something the Mean Girls star is well aware of. In an interview shared Tuesday by the Daily Mail, Lohan explained her accent and why she believes she's now talking differently.

After being asked why she doesn't sound like the Lohan everyone was used to, she told the Daily Mail in French, "Je ne sais pas." In English, that translates to "I don't know." The 30-year-old actor then added the following explanation: "It’s a mixture of most of the languages I can understand or am trying to learn. I’ve been learning different languages since I was a child. I’m fluent in English and French can understand Russian and am learning Turkish, Italian and Arabic."

Lohan even took to Twitter to comment on the stir around her accent. She tweeted at the Daily Mail Tuesday, "What should I call my new accent? I'm thinking #LILOHAN." Based on that tweet, it sure seems like she is having a good laugh over it and is unfazed by whatever anyone else is saying. She even told the outlet," We should let the people decide," when it comes to naming her new accent.

Like LiLo, many are responding to her accent, but with mainly jokes and confusion. Here are just a few reactions:

The comments aren't anything surprising to Lohan, as she told the Daily Mail, "Nothing really shocks me these days. I moved to London four years ago and the taxes seem to be getting higher."
