Anyone Can Watch 'The Daily Show' Election Special

by Andrea Towers

Whether you plan to end your Election Day snacking on the couch, obsessively refreshing social media, or just ignoring the coverage altogether (you'll catch up on who won in the morning), Trevor Noah has you covered. And really, isn't the Comedy Central host all you need to get through one of the most historic elections ever? Noah will be hosting a special election edition of The Daily Show called Democalypse 2016 that will air live on both coasts at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT. For those who can't watch live or can't decide which post-election special to watch, don't worry: Comedy Central has you covered. You can stream The Daily Show election special online on the network's website, and you don't even need to login with a cable subscription to watch all the fun.

While all the late night hosts have undoubtably been preparing for this night for months, The Daily Show has thrived on its coverage of this polarizing election, and Noah's commentary couldn't come at a better time. America will be stressed and impatient, and we'll all need to laugh. Noah and his news team will be on hand to make fun of ballots, mock politicians, and of course, share reactions as the results come in.

I'd love to convince you to watch with the promise of certain guests, but Noah is actually keeping that a mystery. At the time of publication, the Comedy Central website listed the Tuesday night guest as TBA — though that may just provide even more of an incentive to watch. The Daily Show has a great track record when it comes to election coverage, so no matter who shows up or what Noah thinks of the elction, you surely won't be disappointed with Democalypse 2016.
