The Most Lit Election Party Of The Night Is Here

by Courteney Larocca

All election party hosts take note: the block party at the corner of Clinton and President streets in Brooklyn knows how to throw a killer political get-together — as it should be. If Hillary Clinton is elected president tonight, all those people standing at that intersection are going to have the best Instagram posts of the night, with the two street signs spelling out a historic win.

The street scene is definitely lit with a screen showing election coverage and a taco truck in attendance. I mean, I literally can't think of a better way to celebrate this election night than by being surrounded by Clinton supporters with a constant supply of tacos.

The party was organized by Amanda Zinoman, who originally planned for the block party to take place on President Street and Union Street. She told The Gothamist that they had to move locations due to a polling station being located there. But honestly, I can't think of a better setting than the corner of President and Clinton streets.

If you're in Brooklyn, you should consider heading over to see the crowd and maybe grab a taco or two. And if you're literally anywhere else, then check out the party below and prepare for an impending influx of social media posts of the possibly historically accurate street signs.
