Ariana Grande Could Not Be Happier About Her Noms

by Daniela Cabrera

It is every artist's dream come true to be nominated for a Grammy, and as you might imagine, the moment that a musician learns the news is probably one of the weirdest, wildest, and most surreal experiences of their lives. In this day of social media, artists share almost everything with their fans, and when a she was nominated for two awards Tuesday morning, reigning pop princess Ariana Grande responded to her Grammy nominations in the most raw and honest way she could.

On Dec. 6, it was announced that Grande scored nominations for Best Pop Vocal Album for Dangerous Woman and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Dangerous Woman," her lead single off the album. Demi Lovato's Confident was also tapped for Best Pop Vocal Album and her Twitter reaction was a traditional shock and awe response full of exclamation points, but Grande takes the cake for the most, um, descriptive, Grammy reaction yet. In a sense, Grande laid it all out for her fans when she tweeted, "my heart is falling out of my ass."

I love how everything is in lowercase letters and there is no punctuation involved, like this was actually just the first thing that came to her mind when she was shocked to hear of her nominations.

Grande has a way with expressing herself in the most relatable way, and with her tweet she totally gave fans an insight into the excitement that she is feeling at this moment. A minute later, Grande composed herself and got to her "thank you" tweet, while explaining that she was still extremely emotional:

When Grande received her first two Grammy nominations for the 2015 Grammy Awards, she shared a similar reaction via Twitter, but definitely not as raw as this one. In December 2014, Grande wrote of her noms for her album My Everything , "at a loss for words. 2 Grammy noms. thankful to even be considered. my heart is exploding, can't process it. this means the most. so honored."

Yup, her heart is still exploding. But it looks like her feelings have reached even bigger heights and it just shows how much this means to her, especially for an album as personal as Dangerous Woman. Congratulations, Ariana!
