Bullock & Clooney's 'Gravity' Trailer Is Here!

by Lindsay Mannering

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Sandra Bullock's new movie Gravity does not look as scary as some are making it out to be. Co-starring George Clooney and directed by Alfonso Cuarón, the film is about astronauts trying to get back to Earth after debris crashes into their shuttle, sending them to drift alone in orbit. I'll admit that's not an ideal situation, but scary? I don't know.

To be really frightened, I have to be able to put myself in the victim's shoes. Being attacked by an invisible ghost? It could happen, and it's a terrifying thought. Getting murdered by rogue teenagers in scary masks? Definitely a possibility, and equally horrifying. Becoming possessed by the devil? Um, for sure, and, no thanks. But spinning alone in outer space? Eh, I don't really see that happening in my future.

But talk to me after the movie comes out on October 4, and I'll probably tell you about my new nightmares about floating aimlessly through darkness, and how Sandra Bullock's nasally voice haunts my dreams.

Here's the trailer:
