Mother's Day is fast approaching (I hope you all got your mothers gifts already, because you'll be hearing it if you don't!) and we thought we'd reflect upon some of Hollywood's most dynamic mother-child relationships. We like to see the stars that haven't forgotten where and who they came from. After all, it was these women who supported their children from infancy into awkward aspiring stardom, heartbreak, and success.
Here's a few of the most precious mother-daughter (and mother-son, too!) dynamic duos.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone is a devoted daughter. When her mom, Krista, was diagnosed with cancer, she made a point to fly home and be with her through her chemo treatments.
Emma, we literally could not love you more.
Kathy Griffin
She loves her so much she made her star in her reality show and always includes her in her work. Mary Margaret really has some extra spunk in her too despite being 94 (WORK IT, GIRL) and we can see where Kathy gets it from.
Angelina Jolie
Despite Jolie’s mother’s 2007 passing from ovarian cancer, she’s still very much present in the actress’s life. Two of Jolie’s children are named for their grandmother; Her son Pax’s name was chosen by late actress Marcheline Bertrand, and daughter Vivienne was given her grandmother’s name as her middle name.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Blythe Danner have always been exceptionally close, but even more so after Paltrow’s father passed away in 2002 and when Paltrow bestowed her mother’s moniker as one of daughter Apple’s (many) middle names.
