'Frozen' Is Causing Meltdowns In Babies

by Mallory Schlossberg

I know — you have Frozen fatigue. You can't stomach to hear "Let It Go" one more time. It feels like Elsa has trapped you in her permanent icy winter even though it's May. Well, you're not alone, and it's not just because you're a grown woman. Kids are sick of it, too. In fact, this little baby hates Frozen so much, she cries. That's what we call a melt... down. (Badumchh.)

In the video below, a mom sings "Do You Want to Build A Snowman?" to her little baby, Claire, who subsequently bursts into tears, proving that even that quaint little ditty can send someone spiraling into sadness. You might expect such a reaction from the far more bombastic power ballad, "Let It Go," but nope — this is a baby sending a pretty strong and resounding message.

If you're wondering why a mother would choose to post footage of her baby crying, but it's pretty likely that she's trying to say, "Hey, my baby doesn't like Frozen!" Because even if you don't have Frozen fatigue, and you're still sucking up every last parody until the sequel (does not) happen, you should at least take a moment to recognize that the majority of the world is ready for a new animated musical to take the world by storm, even the wee folks who can't even speak yet.
