Dress Like Mila Kunis With These 4 Style Staples

by Tyler Atwood

Though Mila Kunis may be officially off the market with a baby on the way, it hasn't stopped the starlet from dressing to impress each time she makes a public appearance, pregnancy stereotypes be damned. Though Kunis favors more laid-back looks off the red carpet, and reportedly enforces as strictly tee-shirt-based dress code on date nights with Ashton Kutcher, the actress has the art of effortlessly alluring ensembles down to a science for her press appearances.

When it comes to camera-friendly fashion, Kunis favors flowing, feminine dresses and trim silhouettes which are both charming and, by all appearances, easy. The actress rarely wears ensembles which are fussy or high maintenance, often incorporating easy accents such as a well-cut menswear-style blazer, a relaxed-fit tee, or a silk blouse that drapes just right.

For a recent CinemaCon appearance, Kunis abided her tried and true rules, choosing a navy blouson-style dress with a top button, and a killer pair of pointy toe pumps. To keep the ensemble from reading too formal, Kunis kept her locks and makeup fresh and relatively subtle, giving the look a more relaxed, modern vibe. If you're looking to channel that effortlessly chic Mila Kunis style, read on for four items to add to your wardrobe now.

1. A Silky Dress

Mila's gorgeous Twist Light Silk Plum Dress is by Acne, but if $450 is a bit beyond your spending limit, try finding a similarly cut silk or polyester dress in a rich shade of blue or amethyst. The trick is to make sure whatever dress you choose has a discernible waist, unless you'd like to look as if you're wearing a blue paper bag as an outfit. James Perse offers a more reasonably priced racerback blouson dress in both black and peach, each with the designer's signature softened cotton for a relaxed fit.

2. Studded Heels

Kunis's gorgeous studded pumps add just a bit of edginess to her look, so when recreating the ensemble, try looking for a pair of heels with a few well-placed metal accents lest the ensemble look too ladylike. Barneys New York's Studded Heel Counter Pump offers some well-placed sparkle with its metal studs. If you're looking for an open-toe sandal for a less buttoned-up occasion, try Forever 21's Studded Stiletto Sandals.

3. A Delicate Bracelet

Kunis often appears on the red carpet with simple, understated jewelry, and as her CinemaCon ensemble makes a chilled out statement, any jewelry added to the look should maintain the note of simple elegance. Tai's Star Dust Bracelet is ideal for those who crave a little sparkle, while Giles & Brother's Skinny Railroad Spike Cuff offers a more rugged, bohemian effect.

4. Relaxed Jeans

This being Mila Kunis, I can only assume that as soon as the actress finished up the press rounds, there was a beautiful pair of lightly distressed denim waiting at home for her. Rag & Bone/JEAN's "The Dre" Slim Fit Boyfriend Jeans offer just the right wash and cut for kicking back with a glass of Mila Kunis's favored Jim Beam whiskey.
